AC Solenoid Description
The use of an AC solenoid to generate an AC magnetic field has a great advantage over the Helmholtz coil ratio because of the solenoid’s compact size, low inductance, and easy generation of higher frequency magnetic fields. The pulse solenoid generates a continuous magnetic field in pulses, allowing for a wider range of experiments to be conducted under changing magnetic field conditions. The continuous pulsed magnetic field and the alternating magnetic field are similar in design.
